AAI Board Election Results Announced
Thank you to all members who participated in the nominations and election for open seats on the AAI Board of Directors. The annual board elections for the association is an important part of the end of our fiscal year. Member participation in the voting and the nominating process is critical. This allows us to place individuals on our board that adequately represent the membership.
We are pleased to announce that Kent Bennis, Corteva Agriscience, has been re-elected to serve another term as District 3 Director. Kent has served on the board since 2018. Kent is also the Chair of the Environment Committee.
Outgoing Board Members
Thank you to exiting board members – Troy Collins, CoBank who served as the Affiliate Director since 2016, and Gary Peter, West Central Distribution, LLC, who served as an At-Large Director since 2017. The leadership and dedication of Troy and Gary have been appreciated and will be missed. Gary and Troy will continue to serve on the AAI board until the end of the 2019 FY – September 30, 2019.
Election Results
During the 2019 elections, the following members and industry professionals have been elected to the board by our members:
- Animal Science Director – Terry Hurshman, Eldon C. Stutsman Inc.
- Affiliate Director – Eric Thuente, Bergan KDV
- At-Large Director – Al Muhlenbruck, TriOak Foods
- District 3 Director – Kent Bennis, Corteva Agriscience
