Value of Membership
Largest Agribusiness Assocation in the U.S.
Agribusiness Leads Iowa
As a member of the Agribusiness Association of Iowa, you are part of the end-to-end business network that empowers Iowa agriculture. Your ability to innovate and create market opportunities is crucial to agriculture – AAI protects those interests.
Since 1994, the Agribusiness Association of Iowa has represented the whole value chain of ag when Iowa Feed & Grain Association and Iowa Fertilizer & Chemical Association merged to become an even stronger voice for Iowa agribusiness. Today, we continue to speak collectively for agribusiness in the regulatory and policy arena, provide education opportunities to improve outcomes for members, and keep the industry informed.

Working daily in the best interest of the agricultural industry in Iowa.
Collective Voice
The men and women in community businesses across the state join together to address key issues and set the agenda that empowers Iowa agriculture.
The result of that work – Iowa’s government officials know they can count on AAI member expertise, assistance, and insights on policy and business. AAI volunteers, leaders, and staff work year-round with the Governor, Secretary of Agriculture, and officials at all state and federal levels to advocate for the industry and catalyze economic growth for Iowa’s economy.
AAI and its members advocate at the capitol in Des Moines, and at the national level, protecting the best interest of the industry. Recent member issues addressed at the Statehouse include:
- Iowa Grain Indemnity Fund
- Iowa Nitrogen Initiative
- CDL HAZMAT Endorsement Starting At Age 18
- Highway 5/65 Bypass Ag Access Study Funding
